This full-time role will work on the media team to fill the video needs of the church as a whole. That will include sermon elements, social media, managing weekly sermon videos, etc. The videographer will work with and coach Generation Leadership College students in their growth in leadership and relevant creative crafts. This position will office with the Media Team at the Mesa Campus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Be an effective discussion partner in brainstorming, conceptualizing, planning and executing video projects.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough ideas for approval.
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, contracted laborers, actors, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Solid expertise on Mac based platforms.
• Strong understanding of design principles, techniques, color, typography, video capture, audio capture, video editing, etc.
• Outstanding creative and concept skills, be able to work from a conceptual idea and produce stunning work, even improving upon the original concept.
• Create dynamic and diverse creative aesthetic, with the ability to execute different styles in a variety of mediums.
• Superior attention to detail; proofreading skills.
• Ensure creative is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
• Proficient in camera, lighting, and all technologies related to capturing video/audio.
• Proficient in file management, hard drives, memory cards, etc.
• Excellent time management skills and able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Complete projects from start to finish in a timely manner.
• Must be organized with workflow and file management.
• Ability to manage projects autonomously while working within a team structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Identify problems and correct complex issues under the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Able to receive design critique; able to absorb and apply feedback quickly with a positive outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of professional video development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud being fully proficient in using Premier, After Effects, etc.  FinalCut, DaVinci, other softwares (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Pages, Keynote, Microsoft Office, Pro Presenter
• Background in script writing (preferred).
• Associates degree or greater or trade school diploma (preferred).
• Portfolio of work (social media works if it contains created content).
