The Little g’s Campus Coordinator is a full-time position that will resource our Mesa Little g’s Ministry and ensure the quality of Sunday morning Little g’s experience. They will manage the processes, policies, and procedures to maintain a cohesive experience that aligns with the other campuses. In all actions, this individual is to reproduce the Generation Church (GC) culture and experience in their unique job context as well as reflect biblical principles and the GC values.

Little g's is the nursery and preschool ministry at Generation Church, ministering to children 6 weeks through 5 years old. The Little g’s ministry is responsible for creating a safe and fun environment for kids while they learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way. 

Reports to: NextGen Executive Pastor and Central Little G’s Director

The Ideal Candidate

• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Has a positive and inspiring teamwork attitude.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, requiring minimal supervision.
• Passionate about ministry.
• Currently living and modeling the GC Team Values.

Responsibilities: 

• Recruiting, scheduling, and caring for little g’s team members.
• Coordinates the ordering and restocking of all material and equipment supplies needed for the Little g’s ministry at the campus.
• Oversees Kids Sunday Check-in by helping recruit check-in team members as well as maintaining and cleaning necessary equipment and supplies.
• Provide assistance to parents and others by communicating in a Christ-like and professional manner.
• Provide assistance to the gKids Campus Coordinator at times, supporting the success of the overall campus and kids’ department.
• Coordinating and communicating with the campus pastor for event childcare and other support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills, including problem solving skills and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Experience that has equipped them for working in a ministry environment.
• Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership, values, and doctrinal beliefs of Generation Church.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in conflict resolution using good judgment.
• Experience in Nursery/Preschool ministry or working with children.
• Good understanding of Mac-based platforms.
• Ability to recruit, develop and motivate others in a manner consistent with establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Experience with children' s curriculum or kids ministry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in some capacity.
